Key Responsibilities

• Safely and comfortably assist passengers requiring mobility support to and from aircraft seats using appropriate devices
• Escort passengers in wheelchairs to and from gates and terminal areas
• Assist with the handling of checked and carry-on luggage when needed
• Guide passengers in wheelchairs down jet bridges as required
• Ensure wheel brakes are set properly before passenger transfers
• Accurately follow dispatcher gate assignments
• Address passenger questions or concerns in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintain punctual and consistent attendance
• Adhere to all safety and operational procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to operate mobile devices such as tablets or smartphones
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Able to obtain airport credentials and clearances (TSA, Port Authority, etc.)
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Frequent walking and standing in indoor and outdoor environments
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, stretch, squat, and kneel
• Ability to work in areas with varying noise levels and weather conditions
• Must be able to respond to verbal cues and audible alarms
• Visual acuity required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
